Krishnan Gopalakrishnan

Krishnan Gopalakrishnan has extensive experience in various leadership roles within the finance industry. Krishnan is currently the Chief Operating Officer at Adani Capital. Prior to this, they served as the Chief Risk Officer at Arthmate and Hinduja Leyland Finance. Krishnan also held the position of Chief Risk Officer at Pine Labs and Reliance Home Finance Ltd. Krishnan has a strong background in credit underwriting, risk management, and policy formulation. Krishnan has also served as the Group Credit Head at Reliance Commercial Finance and as the CFO at Reliance Commercial Finance. Krishnan began their career as a Manager of Finance at SHV Energy NorthWest India. Throughout their career, Krishnan has demonstrated excellent strategic leadership skills and has successfully managed large teams and achieved financial goals for the organizations they have worked for.

Krishnan Gopalakrishnan began their education at Asia English School, where they completed their Secondary School Certificate from 1979 to 1985. Krishnan then attended St. Xavier's Loyola Hall from 1985 to 1987, obtaining their Higher Secondary School Certificate, focusing on Accounting and Finance. Krishnan continued their studies at Gujarat University from 1987 to 1990, pursuing a Bachelor of Commerce degree with a focus on Accounting and Economics. Concurrently, they also attended the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India from 1990 to 1993, earning a CA degree in Accounting, Taxation, and Company Law. During the same period, Krishnan also studied at the Institute of Cost and Work Accountants of India, obtaining a CWA degree in Costing.
