Sebastian Kaestner has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Sebastian is currently serving as the Head of Treasury & Corporate Finance at adapa Group since 2023. Previously, they were a Board member at ACTA (Austrian Corporate Treasury Association) starting from 2017. In 2015, they worked as a Senior Lecturer at Fachhochschule Wiener Neustadt and later at Fachhochschule des BFI Wien (University of Applied Sciences). Sebastian also has experience at Siemens Healthineers, where they contributed to building the Treasury of the Future and received the Treasury of the Year 2022 award in Germany. Before that, they worked as a Group Treasurer at Pochtler Industrieholding (iSi Group). Sebastian started their career at Schwabe, Ley & Greiner as a Manager and gained experience in Credit Risk Management at BAWAG P.S.K.
Sebastian Kaestner holds a Mag. degree in Betriebswirtschaftslehre from WU (Vienna University of Economics and Business). Sebastian also studied Mandarin at Beijing Language and Culture University.
