Patricia Karwowski

Patricia Karwowski is a skilled microbiologist with extensive experience in natural product research and microbiological techniques. At Adapsyn Bioscience, Patricia served as a Natural Product Microbiologist from September 2018 to July 2024, focusing on the revival and preservation of bacterial strains, conducting fermentations, processing microbial extracts, and operating analytical LC/MS systems. Prior experience includes a role as a Natural Product Research Technician at the University of Guelph, where research involved optimizing growth conditions for Staphylococcus aureus and utilizing various molecular biology techniques. Additional roles include laboratory work in food microbiology and research assistance at DuPont Pioneer, where efforts contributed to plant breeding advancements. Patricia holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Microbiology from the University of Guelph.
