Trefor James

Trefor James has over 20 years of experience in IT and technology roles. Trefor is currently the Global Head of Managed Services at Adaptavist, an Atlassian Platinum and Enterprise Partner. Prior to this, Trefor worked as a Senior Project Engineer at Livedrive, where they led and delivered technical projects to optimize user experience and improve server and network performance. Trefor was also the Head of Systems Infrastructure at dotDigital Group plc, responsible for running a server farm that could send over 12 million emails in a day. Trefor has experience in designing and implementing server and network environments as a Senior Systems Administrator at Skinkers Ltd and as an IT Manager at Acompany PLC. Trefor started their career as a Systems Administrator at MeteoGroup, where they were responsible for running various servers and creating weather feeds using scripting languages.

From 1997 to 2000, Trefor James attended the University of Sussex, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence.
