David Pfendt

David Pfendt has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies and roles. In 2006, they worked as a Programmer at the University of Pittsburgh. David then joined Vanguard in 2007, where they held various positions including Software Engineer, Systems Analyst, Scrum Master, and Senior IT Project Manager. At Vanguard, they focused on improving back office capabilities through the automation of manual processes. In 2016, they transitioned to Comcast, where they served as a Sr Manager in the Business Process Management group, focusing on Finance-related changes for Mid-Market and Enterprise Customers. At Comcast, they achieved several milestones such as increasing support for E-Rate Operations and implementing a SQL Server-based process for invoicing in California. In 2021, David joined Oak View Group as the Director of Analytics. Here, they took ownership of the SPAN-360 team and established a Cloud Environment for performing Insights at Scale. David also partnered with a local university for talent acquisition and growth, and created templates and best practices for the Analytics-First organization. Most recently, in 2023, they started working at AdaptHealth as the Director of Financial Analytics.

David Pfendt obtained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from UNC Kenan-Flagler Business School between 2015 and 2017. Prior to that, they completed a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Computer Science at the University of Pittsburgh from 2003 to 2007. David has also obtained various certifications, including RAMP - Server/Seller Training from the PA Liquor Control Board in September 2022, and multiple data analysis certifications from Coursera in 2021 and 2022.
