Joel Mills

Joel Mills has been the Chief People Officer of AdaptHealth since March 1, 2020. Prior to that, Mr. Mills was the President and CEO of Advanced Home Care from 1988 – 2020. During that time, Advanced Home Care grew to be one of the largest hospital affiliate home healthcare companies in the country. Mr. Mills has been involved in the home medical equipment industry for many years as a founding member and former chair of the American Association for Homecare. Additionally, he has served on many state and local non-profit boards related to health, education, and community philanthropy. Mr. Mills holds his undergraduate degree from the University of Virginia and his Master in Business from Duke University.
