Liane Clamen is the founder and CEO of Adaptilens. Liane was previously employed at Harvard Medical School, OJO, LLC, and Foster-Miller. In August 2002, they became an ophthalmic consultant and co-inventor of the punctal plug drug delivery system (PPDS) for the treatment of glaucoma. The PPDS was acquired by QLT, Inc, and is currently owned by Mati Therapeutics, Inc. Clamen has also worked as an ophthalmology resident at Massachusetts Eye and Ear from July 1999 to June 2002, and as a medical intern at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center from June 1998 to June 1999.
Liane Clamen began their educational career by attending Harvard University, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts magna cum laude in English and American Literature and Language. Liane then went on to attend Harvard University again, this time earning their Doctor of Medicine - MD.
