August Zepka

August Zepka has extensive work experience in IT roles within the pharmaceutical industry. August currently serves as the Global Head of IT at Adaptimmune, a position they have held since March 2023. Prior to this, they worked as the Senior Director IT at Adaptimmune from April 2017 to February 2023. Before joining Adaptimmune, they held the position of Senior Director, Global R&D IT at Teva Pharmaceuticals from October 2011 to February 2017. August also served as the Senior Director R&D, Clincial & Regulatory, Technical and Commercial Operations IT&S at Cephalon from April 2004 to September 2011. Earlier in their career, they worked as an Associate Director at Wyeth from April 2002 to April 2004, Director Manufacturing Execution at BMS from November 2001 to March 2002, and Associate Director at DuPont Pharmaceuticals from April 1996 to October 2001.

August Zepka completed a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Information Systems from Saint Joseph's University from 1990 to 1993. Prior to this, they obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Computer Management from Philadelphia University from 1980 to 1984.
