Ciara Higgins is currently the Senior Director of Clinical Development Business Operations at Adaptimmune, an innovative biotech company developing T cell-based therapies for cancer, autoimmune, and infectious diseases. Prior to this, Ciara worked as a Project Manager at ICON plc, where Ciara managed various pharmaceutical client relationships and oversaw the management of clinical studies in accordance with GCP. Ciara's extensive experience includes setting up and managing clinical trials across multiple therapeutic areas and geographical regions, as well as presenting at international investigator meetings. With a background in nutritional metabolomics and human nutrition, Ciara brings a unique perspective to their work in the biotech and clinical research industries.
