Dana Smith

Dana Smith is a seasoned professional in Quality Control Microbiology with extensive experience in managing testing groups and ensuring product quality. Currently serving as the QC Operations Manager at Adaptimmune, Dana oversees the Quality Control Microbiology testing group and is responsible for the review and approval of all in-house testing and quality deviations. Previous roles at Adaptimmune include QC Operations Lead and QC Microbiologist, where Dana contributed to the implementation of new testing methods and developed critical procedures. Prior experience includes microbiology positions at Spark Therapeutics and Johnson & Johnson, focusing on microbial content testing and method validation.
