Marlene Carmo is a dedicated and highly organized CMC project lead currently serving as the Director of CMC Product Development at Adaptimmune since 2024. Previously, Marlene held positions such as Associate Director at both Novartis Institutes for BioMedical Research and GSK, and has significant research experience as a Senior Research Associate at the UCL Institute of Child Health. Marlene earned a Doctor of Philosophy in Gene Therapy from ITQB/Universidade Nova de Lisboa and an Engineer's degree in Biotechnology Engineering from the Universidade do Algarve.
