Patrick Monnahan

Senior Computational Biologist at Adaptive Biotechnologies

Patrick Monnahan is a Senior Computational Biologist at Adaptive Biotechnologies Corp. since April 2021, previously serving as a Computational Biologist. Prior experience includes a role as a Genome Analyst at the University of Minnesota from October 2017 to March 2021, focusing on the genomics of childhood leukemia and pediatric cancers. Patrick also worked as a Postdoctoral Researcher at the University of Minnesota, where the emphasis was on bioinformatics and quantitative genomics in maize, developing a pipeline for identifying structural variations in maize inbred lines. Before that, Patrick was a Postdoctoral Researcher at the John Innes Centre, leading a population genomic study on ploidy variation in a natural plant species. Patrick obtained a PhD in Ecology and Evolutionary Biology from The University of Kansas in 2016, after earning a Bachelor's degree in Biology from Truman State University in 2009.
