Ralph Swann

Ralph Swann has a diverse and extensive work experience, starting in 2001 as a Senior Trader at IFX Ltd, where they managed and traded a cash and derivatives portfolio and was responsible for electronic trading platform business. Ralph then joined Worldspreads Ltd as a Product Manager, overseeing the development of in-house product development and training the team in real-time trading systems.

In 2012, Ralph became the Head of Product (B2B / SaaS) at Star Financial Systems, where they built new iOS and Android propositions and coordinated the development cycle to deliver a minimum viable product each week.

After that, Ralph joined GAIN Capital in 2016 as a Product Lead, where they led cross-functional teams to deliver web, iOS, and Android platforms to a global customer base. Ralph also sat on the executive Product Steering Committee and managed the Product Group budget.

Most recently, Ralph has been working at Adaptive Financial Consulting since 2019. Ralph initially served as a Product Delivery Lead, leading globally distributed product teams in the design, analysis, implementation, and delivery of exchange trading platforms. Ralph achieved significant success, including designing and delivering a multi-million dollar cryptocurrency exchange for a leading start-up. Ralph then took on the role of Head of Platform Product Management, where they focused on driving commercial initiatives and building frameworks to measure product and marketing experiments.

Throughout their career, Ralph has demonstrated strong leadership skills, strategic thinking, and a track record of delivering successful products and platforms in the financial industry.

Ralph Swann completed their Bachelor's degree in Computer Software Engineering at King's College London from 2005 to 2009. Ralph then pursued an MSc in International Public Policy at UCL from 2009 to 2010, focusing on Statistics, Public Policy, and Economics. Following this, they obtained a Graduate Diploma in Law from the College of Law in 2010-2011, specializing in EC Law, Public Law, Contract Law, and Tort.
