Ray Martz CFO of Pebblebrook Hotel Trust (NYSE: PEB), has led $8 billion of capital market transactions during his 24-year career in the real estate and hotel industry. Pebblebrook is a publicly-traded REIT that invests primarily in luxury and upper-upscale hotels located in urban markets and major gateway cities. Prior to his current role, Mr. Martz served as Chief Financial Officer for Phillips Edison & Company and Eagle Hospitality Properties Trust (NYSE: EHP), he was Treasurer at LaSalle Hotel Properties (NYSE: LHO) and work in asset management at Tishman Hotel Corporation. Mr. Martz received his BS from the School of Hotel Administration at Cornell University and an MBA from Columbia University. He is the co-chair of the Financial Management Committee of the American Hotel & Lodging Association (“AH&LA”), and a founding member of the U.S. Green Building Council’s LEED User Group for Hospitality & Venues.
