Jay Ostrowski

Jay Ostrowski has been in the mental health and telehealth industry for over 25 years. Jay began their career in 1995 as a Program Therapist at Rapha Treatment Centers. In 1996, they founded and became the CEO of Crossroads Counseling Centers and also became an Adjunct Professor at Columbia International University. From 2008 to 2009, they held the position of Director of Outpatient Marketing and Operations at Pine Rest Christian Mental Health Services. From 2009 to 2011, they were the Director of Product Development and Business Development and the Director of Clinical Applications at LifeOptions Group, Inc. From 2011 to 2014, they were the Director of Product and Business Development at the National Board for Certified Counselors (NBCC). In 2014, they became the CEO of Adaptive Telehealth. Jay also offers boutique start-up services, consulting and training in telemental health, telebehavioral health and HIPAA-secure software creation. Their clients have included SAMHSA, NBCC, CCE, HRSA, ONC, State License Boards, State Health Departments, national health insurers, and Fortune 500 companies. Over the last ten years they have been involved in many related research projects and innovative start-ups.

Jay Ostrowski completed their MA in Counseling Psychology from Trinity International University between 1993 and 1995. Prior to that, they obtained a BA in Psychology from Baylor University between 1988 and 1992. Jay also attended the University of Oxford in 1990, studying Education. Their educational history began at Liberty Christian School. Jay also holds a number of certifications, including Certified Telemedicine Clinical Presenter from the National School of Applied Telemedicine obtained in April 2014, National Certified Counselor (NCC) from the National Board for Certified Counselors (NBCC) obtained in January 2010, Approved Clinical Supervisor (ACS) from the Center for Credentialing & Education (CCE), Board Certification-Telemental Health from the Center for Credentialing & Education (CCE) and Mental Health Facilitator - Master Trainer from the National Board for Certified Counselors International.
