Alexa P.

Alexa P. currently serves as a Senior Scientist I at ADARx Pharmaceuticals Inc., leading research on extrahepatic siRNA and RNA editing activities since April 2024. Prior experience includes a role as a Scientist at Plexium, where Alexa optimized high throughput screening of drug candidates, and as an Assistant Project Scientist at UC San Diego, focusing on in vitro experiments related to lung cell biology. A postdoctoral fellowship involved research on the asthma-associated protein ORMDL3 in airway smooth muscle. Educational credentials include a Ph.D. in Immunology from the University of California, Davis, and dual bachelor's degrees in Biology and Psychology from UC San Diego.
