Andre Schmaedecke

Andre Schmaedecke is a seasoned engineer with extensive experience in flight dynamics, guidance, and control systems. Currently serving as a Senior Specialist Engineer at ADASI since October 2021, Andre focuses on flight dynamics evaluation and the development of guidance and control laws. Prior to this role, Andre worked at Embraer for five years as a Product Development Engineer, specializing in flight sciences, aircraft modeling, and flight test analysis. Andre's background includes previous positions at Mectron EIC, the Brazilian Air Force Group at MECTRON, and the Brazilian Air Force, gaining expertise in autopilot design and wind tunnel testing. Andre holds an MSc in Aeronautical Engineering and additional qualifications in aerial weapons and private piloting from Instituto Tecnológico de Aeronáutica.
