Damian Jędryka

Damian Jorritsma currently serves as a Milieu-inspecteur at Omgevingsdienst Noordzeekanaalgebied since January 2021, where responsibilities include overseeing and enforcing environmental regulations among businesses with a focus on complex environmental issues. In addition, Damian is a Project Leader for Very Concerned Substances (ZZS), dealing with hazardous materials designated by the government. As of January 2023, Damian holds the position of Chair for Stroom, the youth organization of Omgevingsdienst NZKG, which connects and engages approximately 250 young professionals through various events and activities. Prior experience includes conducting research on Circular Economy policies for the Municipality of Amsterdam, and marketing and communications roles for large-scale dance events at Reaktor Events. Damian also gained research experience at Philips Lighting, studying sustainable electricity usage in Hanoi as part of an Erasmus+ program. Damian holds a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Engineering from HU University of Applied Sciences Utrecht.
