Amani El Sammak

Amani El Sammak, B.Eng, has extensive experience in the financial technology and banking sectors, currently serving as the Head of Electronic Trading within the Treasury & Investments Group at Abu Dhabi Commercial Bank since July 2012. Amani's roles have included Product Manager, focusing on treasury product planning and lifecycle management, and Product Specialist, overseeing project delivery and testing for major treasury implementations. Prior experience includes a Senior QA Consultant role at Murex, specializing in Foreign Exchange Options, and a Java Developer Internship at Siemens. Amani began an academic career as a Teaching Assistant at the American University of Beirut while earning a Bachelor’s degree in Computer and Communications Engineering from the same institution, and holds a Lebanese Baccalaureate in Math and Science from Saint Mary's Orthodox College. Key areas of expertise include eCommerce, electronic trading, treasury product integration, and risk management systems.
