Pedro R.

Pedro R. is an accomplished senior executive with extensive experience in the financial services sector, particularly in corporate and investment banking. Currently, Pedro serves as the Executive Head of CIB Risk, Support & Enablement at Abu Dhabi Commercial Bank since July 2025. Prior to this role, Pedro held various senior positions at Barclays from September 2016 to July 2025, including COO of Investment Banking and Director of Group Strategy, focusing on leading strategy projects from inception to implementation. Previously, during a decade at Barclays Investment Bank, Pedro built and managed large global legal teams and contributed to operational efficiency initiatives. Early in the career, Pedro worked as a lawyer at Allen & Overy, specializing in real estate finance and international capital markets. Pedro holds an LLM in Banking and Finance from King's College London and has an educational background in Revenue Law and Intellectual Property Law from the University of Southampton.
