Carl Kilander

Carl Kilander has had an extensive career in the medical field. In 2011, they began working as a Medical Doctor at the Unit of Emergency Surgery and Trauma at Karolinska University Hospital. In 2012, they took on a Researcher role at Karolinska institutet, where they also served as a Ph.D. Candidate. Carl'sresearch project addressed biliary tract cancer, disease epidemiology, and risk factor profiling. In 2015, they became a Resident at Capio Sverige. In 2016, they Co-Founded and became the CEO of Medify AB. In 2019, they joined HealthCap as a Partner and Medical Associate. In 2020, they became a Director on the Board of Directors of SynOx Therapeutics. In 2021, they became an Observer on the Board of Directors of Aro Biotherapeutics and Doctrin. Finally, in 2022, they became a Director on the Board of Directors at SwedenBIO and Adcendo.

Carl Kilander obtained their Doctor of Philosophy - PhD in Medicin from Karolinska Institutet in 2017. Prior to this, they completed an ATLS in Medicine/Surgery from Karolinska Universitetssjukhuset in 2012. In 2011, they attended Harvard Medical School for Medicine. In 2006, they obtained their Medical doctor (M.D) from Karolinska Institutet in the field of Medicine. In 2015, they were certified as a Legitimerad läkare from Socialstyrelsen.
