Grace Liu

Grace Liu has worked in various roles in the field of operations and research since 1996. Grace began their career as a Postdoctoral Fellow at the La Jolla Institute for Allergy and Immunology in 1996. In 1999, they joined EMD Chemicals as a Technical Service Scientist and held that role until 2008 when they moved to Merck China as a Marketing Specialist. In 2012, they joined the University of California, San Diego - School of Medicine as a Lab Manager and Project Manager in the Dept. of Pharmacology (Susan Taylor Lab). In their role as Lab Manager, they managed a large lab's daily operations, participated in grant preparation/submission, drafted terms and conditions for service contracts, and supervised lab technical staff. As Project Manager, they managed and coordinated research activities of an NIH Program Project Grant and a project funded by the Michael J. Fox Foundation. Grace also served as the NIH Training Grant Administrator. In 2021, they joined Adcentrx Therapeutics as Director of Operations and Operations Manager.

Grace Liu obtained a Ph.D. in Immunology from The Ohio State University between 1989 and 1995. Grace then obtained an M.D. in Medicine from Peking University between 1981 and 1987.
