Sabine Rottmann

Senior Director Discovery Research at Adcentrx Therapeutics

Sabine Rottmann has a long and successful career in the pharmaceutical industry. Sabine began their career in 1999 as a Graduate Student at the Medical School of the RWTH Aachen and Medical School of Hannover. In 2004, they joined GNF (Novartis) as a Research Investigator I, where they screened several focused siRNA libraries across large panel of cell lines, identified and validated several novel oncology targets, and supervised a service screening platform of focused siRNA-libraries. Sabine was promoted to Research Investigator III in 2014 and their role included leading and representing a cross functional drug discovery project team for an ADC target in Oncology, utilizing and overseeing collaborations with CROs, and establishing strategies including novel tools and assays for ADC generation & development. In 2021, Sabine joined Novartis as an Associate Director at GNF, where they headed the ADC focus area, designed and implemented a research strategy, and led preclinical research exploring combination treatments and underlying MoA to inform continuous clinical development of an ADC currently in Ph1. Sabine also consulted and mentored junior project team leaders across departments. Most recently, in 2021, Sabine joined Adcentrx Therapeutics as Senior Director Discovery Research.

Sabine Rottmann completed their Ph.D in Oncology and Cancer Biology from the Medical School of Hannover in 2003. Sabine also holds a Diploma (M.S) from the same school, which they completed in 1998.
