Vinolia Singh

Vinolia Singh is the Chief People Officer at Adcorp. Vinolia has over two years of experience in human resources and technology management. Prior to joining Adcorp, they were the Group HR Technology Manager at Imperial Holdings Limited from June 2016 to June 2018. In this role, they were responsible for creating and defining the overall HR strategy and people philosophy for the Imperial group. This strategy aligned human capital initiatives to the overarching group strategy in order for the organization to realize its strategic objectives. Vinolia was also responsible for defining the group strategy for human capital technology, selling this business case to obtain the board and executive approvals for an investment exceeding R125 million rands, going to market to select the correct tools, and completing the RFP tender process. All of which was achieved in the first 5 months. Additionally, they were responsible for the groups overarching human capital technology architecture which spans across the organisation’s international and national business units. Vinolia further designed and enabled a master data management framework to ensure cross border synchronization of people data, which is fundamentally one of the most critical raw materials to any business. Vinolia has extensive experience working with key customers, including the Imperial board, various Exco teams across this conglomerate structure of multiple businesses, HR and finance communities. Vinolia has successfully re-engineered practices and processes which is currently transforming the way HR operates and enabling the organisation to better manage and enable its workforce.

Vinolia Singh has a Bachelor of Science in Computer Software Engineering from the University of South Africa/Universiteit van Suid-Afrika, a Master's degree in Information, Communication and Technology from the University of Johannesburg, and a BEd Honours Degree in Education, Training and Development from the University of Johannesburg. Vinolia is currently pursuing an Executive MBA in Business Administration and Management, General at GIBS Business School (Gordon Institute of Business Science).
