Sumner Vanderhoof

Sumner Vanderhoof is a Cloud Architect and VP of Business Operations at Direct Capital, a division of CIT Bank, N.A. Sumner was hired to help transform Direct Capital from a 20 year old financial services company into a FinTech firm in anticipation of an acquisition.

With the team at DCC, Sumner built a cloud based originations platform that created massive scale. Sumner also built and managed the PMO, Data Team, and Product Team from no employees to a team of 40. In addition, they instituted company wide process flows and technology to manage over $2B in finance requests. Sumner represented the technology team during all acquisition discussions and was instrumental in the sale of Direct Capital to CIT. After the acquisition, they oversaw the technical and operational transition from a small NH business to a Fortune 500 bank.

Previously, Sumner was the President of Landscape Digital from May 2013 to December 2019. Before that, they were the Architect / CTO of V2 Strategic Advisors from July 2009 to May 2013.

Sumner Vanderhoof has a B.S. in Entrepreneurial Venture Creation from UNH Peter T. Paul College of Business and Economics. Sumner is also certified as an Inbound Marketing Certified Professional from Inbound Marketing University, a Salesforce.com Certified Sales Cloud Consultant, a Salesforce.com Certified Force.com Developer, a Salesforce.com Certified Service Cloud Consultant, and an Eloqua Partner Certification. Furthermore, they have received Salesforce.com Certified Administrator and Salesforce.com Certified Cloud Consultant certifications from Salesforce.com.
