Jim Kappos

National Sales Manager at AdDaptive Intelligence

Jim Kappos has worked in a variety of roles since 2007. Jim began their career as a Sales Lead at Sears Roebuck and Company, where they acted as a Customer Solutions Professional and oversaw and approved prospective sales proposed by associates. Jim then moved on to UMass Dining Services as a Shift Supervisor, where they organized and maintained a full staff of student and non-student employees, trained and coached production line employees, and supervised production line operation in accordance with university policies and procedures. In 2008, they took an Intern role at the Cape Cod Chamber of Commerce. In 2010, they started a role as a Property Manager at Sound View Condos, where they negotiated real estate sales contracts, analyzed market conditions while ensuring rental properties were occupied, and scheduled and managed business maintenance projects. In 2011, they took an Assistant Manager role at Abercrombie & Fitch. In 2012, they began a role as a Senior Business Advisor at Sunbelt Business Sales & Acquisitions, where they specialized in the sales of privately held businesses, acted as an intermediary, assisted in the selling and buying process, and valued businesses for sale, determined fair-market-value, qualified potential buyers, and negotiated the right terms and conditions to create a win-win scenario for both seller and buyer. In 2013, they started an Inside Sales role at RSA The Security Division of EMC. In 2014, they began a role as a Commodity Broker and Consultant at ITmarketweb. Finally, in 2016, they began working at AdDaptive Intelligence, Inc. in roles as a National Sales Manager and Programmatic Sales Executive.

Jim Kappos attended Quinsigamond Community College from 2005 to 2007, where they earned an Associates degree in Management. From 2007 to 2010, they attended the University of Massachusetts Amherst where they earned a Bachelors of Science degree in Economics, Macroeconomics, Microeconomics, Applied Economics, Marxian Economics, and Production Theory. During this same time, they also attended the Isenberg School of Management, UMass Amherst and earned a BBA in Management, Marketing, Operations, Resource Economics, Finance Operations, and Merchandising.
