We design reliable and user-friendly advanced manufacturing systems that provide opportunities to integrate composites into your production. see a brief video https://youtu.be/JH0hLfG38-0

Composites are one of the best structural materials for high-performance components, yet they are still under-used in everyday items, such as affordable vehicles. It all comes down to cost. The raw materials have been steadily decreasing in cost to produce, and now manufacturing has become the costly component of composites. One way of driving down the cost of manufacture is through automation.

Until recent years, there were only a handful of automation solutions, but they were only available to the aerospace industry due to high price tags. This problem of inaccessible automation has limited the adoption of composites in the mass market.

Industrial robot purchases have been steadily growing in the last decade, making them commonplace in most facilities. Addcomposites has created a solution that leverages this trend, in providing systems for automated composite production. This, along with our unique business proposal of shared economy, enables us to provide a solution that is 100x more cost-effective to acquire and 20-25x faster to adopt.

Our customers have been excited by the AFP-XS because it allows for them to perform research of all kinds, not just limited to aerospace anymore. Use it to help dial in some material parameters, optimize fiber orientation for maximum impact, or simply to increase your current output. Bring your research to the next level, or bring your composite manufacturing home. Reach out today to get started!
