Morgan Coyner, MFA

Morgan Coyner, MFA has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. In 2012, Morgan started their career as a Sales Associate at Gap Inc. They then transitioned to become an English Teacher in the Huntsville City School District, where they worked from 2014 to 2016. Following this, Morgan served as a Graduate Assistant at Georgia College from 2016 to 2019.

In 2019, Morgan joined The Next Door, Inc. where they initially worked as a Grant Coordinator. They later took on the role of Grant and Communications Coordinator and eventually became the Marketing & Communications Manager. Morgan's time at The Next Door, Inc. lasted until 2021.

Currently, Morgan works at Addiction Professionals of North Carolina (APNC), where they hold the position of Director of Communications. They are also currently serving as the Vice President of Membership and Communication, a role they assumed in 2022.

Morgan Coyner, MFA, completed a Bachelor of Arts degree in Religion/Religious Studies as well as another Bachelor of Arts degree in Foreign Languages and Literatures, General from Virginia Tech between 2010 and 2014. Later, they pursued a Master of Fine Arts degree in Creative Writing - Fiction at Georgia College & State University from 2016 to 2019.
