Selina Ali

Selina Ali has a diverse work experience that spans various industries and roles. Starting in 2013, they worked as a Surveyor at the University of Southern Denmark, digitally recording a retired lifeboat. In 2014, they served as an Underwater Archaeologist at the Rijksdienst voor het Cultureel Erfgoed, participating in an underwater survey of 17th-century wrecks in Rotterdam. Selina continued their underwater archaeology work in 2015 and 2016 at Vikingeskibsmuseet, conducting excavations on the Danish Mesolithic coastline. From 2016 to 2018, Selina worked as a Marie Curie Early Stage Researcher at the University of Wales Trinity Saint David, focusing on the ForSeaDiscovery project. In 2019, they joined Jamf as a Technical Support Associate and gradually advanced to roles such as Technical Support Specialist II and Product Specialist, specializing in Apple-related technologies. In 2021, Selina joined LogicMonitor as a Product Manager, responsible for alert and external integrations. Currently, they work at Addigy as a Product Manager, starting in 2023. Throughout their career, Selina has demonstrated their skills in project management, research, customer support, and product development.

Selina Ali's education history begins in 2009 when they enrolled at the University of Wales, Lampeter, where they earned a Bachelor's degree in Archaeology and Anthropology in 2012. Following this, from 2012 to 2013, they attended the Great Lakes Boat Building School to study Traditional Wooden Boat Building.

In 2013, Selina Ali pursued a Master of Arts (M.A.) degree in Maritime Archaeology at Syddansk Universitet - University of Southern Denmark, completing their studies in 2015.

In addition to their formal education, Selina Ali obtained several certifications. In December 2013, they became a Commercial SCUBA Diver certified by the Danish Maritime Authority. In May 2012, they earned the Sports Diver certification from BSAC. Selina Ali also holds various professional certifications, including LogicMonitor Certified Associate and LogicMonitor Certified Professional, obtained in December 2021. Selina obtained the Jamf Certified Expert certification in December 2020. Furthermore, Selina Ali obtained the IDSA Level 2 Surface Supplied Inshore Air Diver certification from the International Diving School Association in March 2015. Additionally, in April 2015, they acquired the H30 Svenskt Yrkesdykarcertifikat from Försvarsmakten. Most recently, in July 2022, Selina Ali obtained the PMC Level I certification from Pragmatic Institute.
