Nusrat Ahmad, MSc.

Nusrat Ahmad, MSc. has a diverse work experience, beginning with an Internship Trainee role at Incepta Pharmaceuticals Ltd. in 2016. In 2017, they worked as a Research Assistant at Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology, conducting experimental investigation on Leidenfrost phenomenon and developing an experimental setup for droplet evaporation study. From 2019 to 2022, they worked as a Graduate Research Assistant, Graduate Teaching Assistant-Engineering Mechanics, and Graduate Teaching Assistant- Heat Transfer at University of Alberta. In 2022, they began roles as a Mechanical Testing Engineer at Addionics and a KEEP+ Associate at University of Hertfordshire.

Nusrat Ahmad, MSc. completed a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology from 2012 to 2017. Nusrat then went on to pursue a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Alberta from 2019 to 2022. During their time at the University of Alberta, they obtained certifications in Succeeding in the Workplace: Intercultural Competencies for Employment, Surface Science Online Course, Construction Safety Training System (CSTS 2020) - Fundamentals, WHMIS 2015 Worker Education (Generic) (CSTS 2020), and Laboratory & Chemical Safety: University of Alberta Personnel certificate. Nusrat also obtained certifications from LinkedIn and Coursera, including Six Sigma: White Belt, SOLIDWORKS: Advanced Engineering Drawings, Excel/VBA for Creative Problem Solving, and Introduction to Data Analysis Using Excel.
