Gregory J. Cost

Gregory J. Cost currently serves as the Vice President of Biology at Addition Therapeutics, beginning in November 2023. Previously, Gregory held the position of Vice President of Biology at Metagenomi from December 2019 to August 2023, and was also Senior Director of Biology during that time. Prior experience includes a role as Principal Scientist at Casebia Therapeutics (July 2016 - November 2019), where Gregory led the scientific team on hematology and autoimmunity projects and authored regulatory documents. Gregory's earlier career included positions as Senior Scientist and Research Scientist at Sangamo BioSciences from June 2006 to June 2016, focusing on gene therapy and zinc-finger nucleases, as well as post-doctoral studies at the University of California, Berkeley, and Institut Pasteur in Paris. Academic credentials include a Ph.D. in Biochemistry, Cellular, and Molecular Biology from The Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine, and a B.S. in Chemistry from Xavier University.
