Kirstie Keller, PhD, currently serves as the Chief Executive Officer at Additional Ventures as well as Vice President of Programs and Director of Scientific Programs since January 2020. Prior to this, Kirstie was a Senior Associate at the Milken Institute from June 2017 to January 2020, where responsibilities included leading projects to channel philanthropic investment into biomedical sciences. Previous experience includes consulting roles at Clarkston Consulting and a postdoctoral fellowship at The Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine, where methodologies for studying protein-small molecule interactions were developed. Kirstie earned a PhD in Biochemistry from The Johns Hopkins University, where notable research included the discovery of a novel interaction involving the cancer-specific protein PKM2, and holds a Bachelor's degree in Biology from Gonzaga University.
