Mark Magielsen

Mark Magielsen has a range of work experience in various roles and positions. Mark started their career at Philips Applied Technologies as a Philips MasterClass from 2001 to 2003. Following this, they joined Philips Innovation Services in 2001 as a Sr. Designer, where they worked on high-tech equipment for the semiconductor industry. During their time there, they held the role of Lead Mechanical Designer and also served as a Competence Lead in Metal Additive Manufacturing. Mark worked on projects involving wafer positioning modules, wafer inspection/measurement stages, wafer processing equipment, mirror metrology machines, and MagLev stages. Mark'sskills include mechatronics, precision engineering, vacuum applications, finite element analysis, and Unigraphics. In 2014, Mark joined Additive Industries as a Senior Mechanical Designer and later became the Manager of Engineering in 2020. Currently, they hold the position of Director of Technology at Additive Industries.

From 1994 to 2000, Mark Magielsen attended Delft University of Technology, where they earned a Master of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering.
