Steve Grundahl

Steve Grundahl has extensive experience in the additive manufacturing industry. Steve is currently the Vice President of Additive Manufacturing at Prototek, where they oversee the rapid prototyping and low-volume production processes. Prior to this, Steve served as the President of Midwest Prototyping LLC, a leading independent additive manufacturing company. Steve has also held positions as the Director and Investor at Additive Manufacturing Technologies (AMT) Limited, where they played a key role in delivering innovative workflow and post-processing solutions to the industry. Furthermore, Steve has been involved in various advisory and board roles, including serving as a member of the Board of Directors at Lake Ridge Bank, the Greater Madison Chamber of Commerce, the Wisconsin Center for Manufacturing and Productivity (WCMP), the Northeast Wisconsin Technical College, Madison College, and the Mt. Horeb Area Economic Development Corporation. These roles have allowed him to contribute to the development of the manufacturing and engineering fields, as well as the economic growth of various communities. Steve's expertise and involvement in the industry make him a valuable asset to any organization.

Steve Grundahl attended the Milwaukee School of Engineering from 1993 to 1996, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Mechanical Engineering. In 2015, they enrolled in Edgewood College and completed their Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) degree in 2017. Additionally, Steve obtained certifications from the Federal Aviation Administration, becoming an Instrument Rated Pilot in February 2023, and earned an SME Additive Manufacturing Certification from SME in October 2014.
