Addleshaw Goddard
Alison Newton is a seasoned legal professional with extensive experience in various leadership roles. Currently serving as a Partner at Addleshaw Goddard since June 2017, Alison has previously held the position of Partner at both HBJ Gateley (October 2011 - May 2017) and McGrigors (October 1994 - September 2011). Additionally, Alison contributed as a Board Trustee at the Centre for Cities from 2012 to 2018, focusing on urban policy under the guidance of Nigel Hugill, and as a Board Member of the Royal Scottish National Orchestra during the same period, chaired by Dame Sue Bruce. Alison holds an LLB Dip LP degree in Law from the University of Dundee (1980 - 1984) and completed secondary education at the High School of Dundee from 1968 to 1980.
