Laila Wood

Laila Wood is a partner at Addleshaw Goddard since May 2024, bringing extensive experience in antitrust law from previous roles, including senior associate in the Antitrust Practice at Clifford Chance LLP from August 2016 to May 2024. Laila served as a secondee at the Competition and Markets Authority from September 2022 to June 2023 and contributed as an associate in antitrust, competition, and trade at Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer from February 2015 to July 2016. Earlier in the career, Laila worked as an associate in the Antitrust Practice at Clifford Chance LLP from February 2011 to February 2015, following the completion of a traineeship. Laila holds a BA(Hons) in Law with Law Studies in Europe from the University of Oxford, a postgraduate diploma in the Legal Practice Course from The University of Law, and a Level 2 Award in Wines and Spirits from WSET School London.
