Sarah Thomas

Sarah Thomas is a legal professional with extensive experience in regulatory investigations and international arbitration. Currently a Partner at Addleshaw Goddard since June 2019, Thomas previously held the position of Senior Associate at Herbert Smith Freehills from September 2010 to June 2019, advising financial institutions on compliance and governance matters. A secondment to UBS Wealth Management as Legal Counsel occurred in 2012, focusing on litigation. Earlier roles included Associate positions at Fulbright & Jaworski, specializing in international arbitration and investigations in the oil and gas sector, and at Baker & McKenzie, concentrating on energy disputes. Additionally, Thomas gained experience as a Judicial Assistant at the Court of Appeal in 2004. Thomas earned a BA in Law from the University of Cambridge between 1998 and 2001.
