Stuart Gillies

Stuart Gillies is a qualified solicitor and notary public in Scotland with extensive experience in corporate and banking law. Currently serving as a Senior Knowledge Lawyer at Addleshaw Goddard since January 2024, Stuart has previously held positions such as Senior Associate at Dentons and Associate at CMS Scotland, specializing in Corporate and Leveraged Finance. Stuart has also contributed to the academic field as a Corporate Law Tutor at the University of Glasgow. In addition to legal practice, Stuart serves as a member of the Board of Trustees for OneKind, an animal welfare charity in Scotland. Educational qualifications include a Corporate & Financial Law LLM from the University of Glasgow, a Diploma in Legal Practice from the University of Aberdeen, and a Bachelor of Laws with Honours from the University of Aberdeen.
