Sebastien Devroe

Sebastien Devroe has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Sebastien is currently serving as the Chief Technical Officer at AddUp since July 2018. Prior to this, they worked at Fives as the Innovation Director from July 2012 to July 2018. Before that, they held the position of Head of Research Center at Fives FCB from June 2005 to June 2013. Sebastien also worked as a Process Engineer (Boilers) at Alstom from June 1999 to June 2005. Sebastien started their career as a Teacher & Researcher at ARMINES from September 1996 to June 1999. Sebastien also has experience working in the military, serving as a Young Scientist in the Military Service of Armée de Terre from July 1995 to September 1996.

Sebastien Devroe holds a Ph.D in Fluids Mechanics & Energy from Mines Paris, completed in the years 1996-1999. Sebastien also earned a Master's in Mechanics and energetics from Université Polytechnique Hauts-de-France in 1994-1995, and an Engineering degree from Mines Douai in 1992-1995. In 2003-2004, they completed the Alstom Executive Program in Business Administration and Management through the Center for Creative Leadership.
