Frank Guerrera

Frank Guerrera is the Chief Technical Systems Officer at Pegasystems. Prior to their current role, Frank served as the VP SaaS Infrastructure Services at Hewlett Packard Enterprise from September 2016 to August 2017. From January 2009 to December 2013, Frank was the Senior Vice President Infrastructure Operations at Salesforce.com where they were responsible for transitioning a tactical startup operations team into a strategic global infrastructure operations group.

During their time at Salesforce.com, Frank expanded a US based Operations Service Center (OSC/NOC) into Global follow the sun Site Reliability Centers (SRC). Frank also assisted in the creation of the DevOps model to ensure end to end responsibility for all products and infrastructure. In addition, Frank evolved the Data Center teams into a Global Data Center group and migrated from a Retail data center Model to a Wholesale data center model which saved over 60% costs year over year.

Establishing a Project and Asset Management group responsible for the $200M annual technology spends, Frank created a full asset lifecycle roadmap to ensure all equipment was mapped to meet capacity planning requirements. Frank also took over Core Internal Services organization which included Release engineering, Performance engineering and internal systems engineering.

Eventually, Frank brought to SFDC a Long Range Plan (LRP) model that allowed them to go from a 3 month plan to a 5 year plan and forecast Hardware and Data Center Capacity to meet all components of growth (revenue and usage). This ultimately led to him creating an Operations Engineering group responsible for all support and deployment of Production infrastructure.

Frank Guerrera has an associates degree in business from SUNY College of Technology at Farmingdale and they also went to West Islip High School.
