Norma English serves as the Executive Director for the Addus Hope Foundation, a non-profit hospice organization under Addus HomeCare, since September 2019. In this role, Norma focuses on fulfilling the final wishes of hospice patients, addressing their needs, promoting volunteerism in hospice care, and supporting nursing education. Previously, Norma held the position of President in the Hospice Division at Hospice Partners of America LLC from December 2011 to September 2019, where growth was achieved across six states. As the Chief Executive Officer of a venture-backed start-up hospice organization, Norma oversaw substantial expansion, leading to the company's acquisition by Addus HomeCare with over 1000 patients. Additional experience includes serving as Chief Operating Officer at CareSouth Homecare Professionals from 2007 to 2011, where significant admission growth was recorded, and as Vice President of Operations at SouthernCare from 2002 to 2007, during a period of rapid growth for one of the largest hospice providers in the country. Norma holds a BSN and MSN from the University of Alabama at Birmingham, specializing in Nursing and Nursing Education.
