Marinda Peters

Marinda is a Professional School Counselor and has worked for the Forest Grove School District since 2008. Additionally, Dr. Peters teaches at Oregon State University. She has specialized training in adult education, counselor supervision, and culturally responsive educational practices. Dr. Peters is passionate about working with youth to help them discover resiliency within themselves and their communities. She is also committed to training and supporting new professionals within the field of education so that they may lead with an asset-based mindset and an equity-lens. Dr. Peters was born in Oregon and has lived in Washington County since childhood. She is committed to serving her local community and empowering youth, women, and underserved families. She is devoted to Adelante Mujeres and she is honored to be a member of the board.
