McKenzie R. Ballou, Ph.D. has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. McKenzie R. started their career as a Market Research Intern at FGI Research in 1999 and then worked as a Market Research Intern at Aragon Consulting Group in 2000. In 2005, they became a Freelance Computer Programmer/Consultant. McKenzie R. then worked as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at Washington University in St. Louis from 2008 to 2009.
From 2009 to 2014, McKenzie worked as a Project Manager and Research Analyst at M. Davis & Company, Inc., where they conducted research, wrote reports, developed databases, and managed large projects. McKenzie R. also played a key role in winning multi-million dollar federal contracts.
In 2014, McKenzie joined HSR Associates as a Project Director, where they led marketing research projects for Fortune 100 and 500 companies in various industries, including Financial Services, Hospitality Services, Timeshare, and Pharmaceutical. McKenzie R. analyzed and interpreted data to provide insights and support marketing strategies.
Currently, McKenzie is working at Adelphi Research Global as a Senior Project Director, a position they have held since 2017.
Throughout their career, McKenzie has developed expertise in SPSS, Excel, Access, and SAS, as well as project management, database development and management, proposal writing, and client contact.
McKenzie R. Ballou, Ph.D. obtained their Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Science degrees in Cognitive Science and Psychology, respectively, from Indiana University Bloomington in the years 1997 to 2001. McKenzie R. then went on to pursue their higher education at Washington University in St. Louis, where they obtained their Master of Arts and Ph.D. degrees in Experimental Psychology from 2001 to 2009. In addition to their academic achievements, McKenzie also obtained a SAS Programming 1: Programming Essentials certification from SAS in April 2011.
