Nuria Oliva Galvan

Nuria Oliva Galvan has a diverse work experience spanning over several industries and roles. Nuria began their career as an Analyst in the Controller Department at Nestle España, SA in 1986. Nuria then worked at Nicolas Bosch Mir SA, where they initially reviewed accountancy and prepared tax declarations before transitioning to roles involving international transport, customs dispatch, and customers' receivables.

In 1991, they joined Uponor Iberia, a Finnish multinational company, as Chief Financial Officer for the Spanish branch. Nuria'sresponsibilities included accountancy, financial statements preparation, business control, budgeting, financial policy, cash management, credit control, IT area, personnel administration, legal matters, and ERP installation. As of 2003, they took on the CFO role for the Portuguese branch as well.

From 2006 to 2008, Nuria worked as the Chief Financial Officer at SDMO Industries Iberica, S.A., a French multinational company. Here, they supervised accountancy, prepared financial statements, analyzed product cost and profitability, controlled business operations, prepared budgets and reports, managed financial policies and cash, oversaw IT, personnel, tax, legal matters, and logistics.

Nuria then joined INSTITUT CATALA D'ENERGIA (ICAEN) in 2008 as the Economic and Administrative Director, responsible for various areas including budgeting, accountancy, legal matters, subsidies, human resources, and IT. Nuria managed a team of 18 people and worked under the Catalan Government.

In 2012, Nuria became an Associate Professor at Universitat Pompeu Fabra, teaching and sharing their expertise in their field.

Finally, in 2011, they took the role of CFO & HHRR at ADELTE & EFS Groups.

Throughout their career, Nuria gained valuable experience in finance, administration, budgeting, legal matters, HR, IT, and leadership, demonstrating their versatility and adaptability across different sectors.

Nuria Oliva Galvan completed their education in various institutions. From 1983 to 1988, they studied at Esade where they obtained a Licenciada en Ciencias Empresariales (Bachelor's degree in Business Science) and a Master en Administración y Dirección de Empresas (Master's degree in Business Administration and Management) with a specialization in empresariales and dirección empresas (business management). Additionally, from 1993 to 1995, they attended the I.M.D. (International Management Program para personal Directivo) to further enhance their skills in international management.
