Kristin Boggs, JD, MHI, MSCS, BSN, RN, CHC, CHPC has a diverse and extensive work experience in the healthcare field. Kristin most recently served as the Chief Integrity & Compliance Officer at Adena Health System since September 2018. Prior to that, they held the position of Regional Quality Officer-Cincinnati & Springfield at Mercy Health from December 2017 to September 2018. From March 2015 to December 2017, they served as the Director of Quality & Case Management Cincinnati East Market at Mercy Health.
Kristin also held positions at Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center, where they served as the Interim Vice President-Center for Professional Excellence & Chief Patient Services Informatics Officer from July 2014 to February 2015, and as the Chief Patient Services Informatics Officer from September 2013 to February 2015.
Kristin has prior experience at Mercy Health (formerly Catholic Health Partners), where they held the roles of CarePATH Risk & Patient Safety Officer from October 2012 to September 2013, and Director of Risk Management-Cincinnati East Market from March 2008 to September 2012.
Additionally, Kristin has worked as a Clinical Administrator-RN and Registered Nurse at Mercy Health (formerly Catholic Health Partners) from 2005 to 2008, and as a Registered Nurse at Health Alliance from 2004 to 2005.
Kristin Boggs, JD, MHI, MSCS, BSN, RN, CHC, CHPC has a diverse education history. Kristin obtained a Doctor of Law (J.D.) degree from Northern Kentucky University—Salmon P. Chase College of Law from 2009 to 2013. In addition, they earned a Master of Science (MS) degree in Health Informatics from Northern Kentucky University in 2012 and 2013. Kristin also holds a Bachelor's degree in Nursing Science from the University of Cincinnati, achieved during the period of 2007 to 2008. Furthermore, they completed an Associate's degree in Nursing Science at UC Blue Ash College between 2001 and 2003. Kristin's educational journey also includes a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Audiology/Audiologist and Speech-Language Pathology/Pathologist from The Ohio State University, attained from 1990 to 1994.
Apart from their degrees, Kristin has obtained certifications in the field of healthcare compliance. Kristin is certified as a Health Care Compliance Professional (CHC) by the Compliance Certification Board (CCB) and holds a certification in Healthcare Privacy Compliance from the same institution.
