Shaheed Koury

Shaheed Koury, MD, MBA, FACEP, currently serves as Chief Clinical Officer at Adena Health System since January 2023. Koury has extensive experience in healthcare leadership, including roles on the advisory board for CareHarmony and Synchronous Health, Inc. Koury previously held significant positions at care.ai as an advisory board member and at Quorum Health as Chief Medical Officer & President of Clinical Operations. Additional past roles include Vice President for Quality & Clinical Transformation at Community Health Systems and Emergency Physician at Emergency Medicine of Indiana. Koury completed a residency in Emergency Medicine at The Brody School of Medicine at East Carolina University, holds an MBA in Health Care Management from Indiana Wesleyan University, and earned a Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of Kentucky College of Medicine, complemented by a Bachelor of Arts in Chemistry from the University of Kentucky.
