Chris Bennington has a diverse work experience in the field of marketing and digital strategy. Most recently, they have worked at Adept, starting in 2023 as the EVP of Marketing Strategy & Channels, leading channel teams, integrated planning, and new client strategy. Prior to that, they served as the VP of Marketing & Digital Strategy at Adept, where they led new client strategy, cross-channel planning, and media buying.
Before joining Adept, Chris was the Head of Growth at Maple from 2021 to 2023, where they led marketing and growth functions for consumer apps. Additionally, they founded P48 in 2018, a marketing team specializing in advertising strategy for national brands and local businesses, and held the role of Founder - Strategy & Digital before selling their ownership stake in 2022.
Chris also gained experience as the Director of Customer Acquisition & Media at Twyla Inc in 2017, overseeing customer acquisition strategy and digital media. Prior to that, they worked as the Director of Digital Marketing at EVERYTHING BUT THE HOUSE (EBTH) from 2016 to 2017, leading advertising and acquisition efforts for the online marketplace.
Their earlier professional experience includes working as a Digital Marketing Manager at Cincom Systems from 2015 to 2016, where they built a data-driven acquisition strategy for B2B software products and managed global web analytics. Chris also held the position of a Digital Marketing Strategist & Business Development Manager at Cincinnati Digital Shop from 2014 to 2015.
Throughout their career, Chris has demonstrated expertise in areas such as marketing strategy, channel management, media buying, customer acquisition, and digital analytics.
