Mohamed Farouk

Mohamed Farouk has a diverse work experience spanning several companies and roles. Mohamed started their career as a General Manager at Invensys Engineering & Services in 1998 and held that position until 2008. During this time, they also served as the Director of Engineering Excellence Centers at Invensys Process Systems from 2008 to 2009. Farouk then joined Invensys Operations Management as the SVP IOM Delivery Operations Excellence, where they were responsible for Engineering Excellence Centers, Global Customer Support, and other operational aspects. In 2012, they became the CEO of ADES - Advanced Energy Systems and also took on the role of Chairman (Non-Executive) at Schneider Electric Engineering & Services, both of which they continue to hold. Previously, Farouk worked as an Assistant Professor at the Faculty of Engineering Cairo University, where they taught Control Courses and supervised thesis projects from 1998 to 2009.

Mohamed Farouk earned a Ph.D. in Systems Engineering from Case Western Reserve University, where they studied from 1994 to 1998. Prior to that, they completed an M.Sc. in Artificial Intelligence in Control Systems at Cairo University, from 1991 to 1993.
