Ara Lozano Barragán

Ara Lozano Barragán has extensive work experience in various roles and industries. Ara currently works at Adevinta as a Transversal Sourcing Lead since March 2023 and previously served as the Procurement Country Manager - Spain from September 2021 to February 2023. Before joining Adevinta, they worked at Quaker Houghton as a Category Manager from October 2015 to May 2021, where they were responsible for defining long-term strategies, analyzing industry trends, and managing budgets. Prior to that, they were a Procurement Specialist at Houghton International from October 2008 to October 2015, overseeing supplier relationships and purchase planning. Ara also has experience as an English teacher at Near Training and Institució Cultural del CIC in 2007 and 2006, respectively.

Ara Lozano Barragán completed a Master's degree in Project Management at IMF Smart Education from 2020 to 2021. Prior to that, they obtained a Master's degree in Communication, Institutional Relations, and Event and Congress Management from ESPRI Protocolo in 2012. In 2011, they completed a course on Negotiation and Supplier Relationships at AERCE and a course on Incoterms 2010 at Cambra de Comerç de Sabadell. Additionally, they earned a Master's degree in International Relationships and Opening of New Markets from ESERP Business & Law School from 2009 to 2010. Ara also studied German and American Studies, focusing on Linguistics and Culture, at Leipzig University from 2007 to 2008. In 2006, they undertook a Master Course in German Studies and Intercultural Relationships with German-speaking Countries at Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona. Ara completed their undergraduate studies, earning a Licenciatura degree in English Philology and Linguistics, also at Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona from 2003 to 2008.
