Chris Allan Wajega

Chris Allan Wajega is a seasoned Senior Software Engineer with extensive experience in developing and architecting software solutions. Currently at Adevinta since August 2023, Chris focuses on Java development and migrating services to Google Cloud Platform, particularly for the Kijiji platform. Previously, Chris held senior roles at Vibes and MTN Uganda, where responsibilities included developing tools for carrier shortcodes, integrating fintech applications, and guiding teams through software development life cycles. Chris has a strong foundation in automation, microservices architecture, and system integration, with prior roles at Wacsoft Solutions and School Master Solutions contributing to a comprehensive skill set in both backend and full-stack development. Chris holds a Bachelor's degree in Telecommunications Engineering from Makerere University.
